This week Emily Henderson posted this:
It's amazing. The ombre blue jars make this art freaking great. And it's an affordable.
This made me think about all the other awesome mason jars use that are out there.
Mason Jars in the Bathroom via lovely little details
This idea is very clever. It frees up space on the bathroom counter, is totally customizable to how much stuff you have in the bathroom and it can add a little country or industrial or even glam to your bathroom depending on how you trick your jars and holder out. Spray the jars with some Krylon Looking Glass, patina up the metal rings and make them look rusted, distress the wood holding them. The possibilities are endless.
Mason Jar Light Fixture via cheneyhome
This is just one idea using mason jars as lighting elements. Why pay for it at Pottery Barn when you can make it for a fraction of the price? There are several other lighting projects for mason jars out there and some for sell on Etsy like the one from zoeveedesigns but you might suffer some sticker shock when you see how much cheneyhome made theirs for.
Tinted Jars via momtastic
I know, freaking cute right? You could use these tinted glasses in the previously mention projects to add some cuteness to your jars. Throw some white flowers in these and you've got yourself something for your Easter dinner tablescape. Use 'em to hold sewing or art supplies, the possibilities are endless.
Well there you have it, some of the best mason jar projects for home decor I have seen on the net. There are plenty more that involve using them as gift holders, herb gardens, pantry organization and as beverage glasses. For me, I pinned the bathroom mason jars months ago and plan to use it somewhere as soon as time permits. Using mason jars as home decor in your house?
